Manganese Chloride
Manganese chloride, pink, translucent, large irregular crystals. There are two forms of crystal, α It belongs to monoclinic columnar crystal; β- It belongs to monoclinic plate crystal. The relative density is 2.01g/cm3. Melting point 650 ℃. The boiling point is 1190 ℃. Water absorption, easy to deliquescence. At 106 ℃. At 200 ℃, it loses all the crystal water and becomes anhydrous. When the anhydrous substance is heated in air, it will decompose and release HCl to form Mn3O4. It is easily soluble in water at room temperature and extremely soluble in hot water. Soluble in ethanol.
